Switching
Switching from That Job Platform?
Plenty of carpet cleaning owners run their business on general job software and pay extra, on top of the plan, for review requests, campaigns or phone answering. Here is how CarpetOS compares, including what it doesn't do yet, and what moving over looks like.
How it compares
Based on That Job Platform's public pricing page, checked November 5, 2026. Plans and features change, so check theirs before you decide.
| Feature | That Job Platform | CarpetOS |
|---|---|---|
| Review requests after a job | In a paid marketing add-on, or the top plan | Sent when a job is marked complete, to every customer |
| AI phone answering | Paid add-on, metered per conversation, except on the top plan | AI phone agent that answers, books and passes on urgent calls, plus missed-call text-back |
| Automatic appointment reminders | Not on the entry plan | Confirmations and reminders from your booking pages |
| Email and text campaigns | In a paid marketing add-on, or the top plan | Seasonal campaigns, win-back and quote follow-ups |
| Route planning between stops | From the second plan up | Not yet |
| Card on file and automatic payments | From the second plan up | Not yet. Invoices carry a pay-online link |
| Who it is set up for | Field-service businesses in general | Carpet cleaning companies, with someone from the trade to help you set up |
If route planning or card-on-file payments run your day, tell us. We'd rather you know now than after you switch.
What moving over looks like
- 1
Export before you cancel
Download your customer list, service addresses, notes, open quotes and unpaid invoices as spreadsheets while you still have access.
- 2
Bring your customers in
We help you import the list into CarpetOS, with your notes and the fields that matter to you: rooms, fiber, pets, gate codes.
- 3
Set up your services and prices
Your services, line items and booking pages, set up the way you actually quote and book.
- 4
Keep your phone number
Customers keep calling the number they know. We set up how those calls reach the phone agent.
- 5
Overlap, then switch
Run both for a short while if you like, finish open jobs where they started, and move new work over.
